I grew up in an area that was surrounded by water. Bright sunny skies and glassy water often transformed from tranquil mornings into stormy afternoons. I explore this intersection of calm and chaos in my art. I’m fascinated by movement, transitions, and patterns that appear in nature. I often use nontraditional tools and acrylic paint on canvas. When working with reclaimed materials, I allow each object to act as a source of inspiration.
